Check valve: also known as check valve or check valve, it is used to prevent the medium in the pipeline from backflow. The bottom valve of the water pump is also a check valve.
The valve that the opening and closing parts open or close by themselves depending on the medium flow and force to prevent the medium from backflow is called a check valve. The check valve belongs to the automatic valve category, which is mainly used on the pipeline with one-way flow of medium. The medium is only allowed to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.
The check valve can be divided into lift check valve, swing check valve and butterfly check valve according to the structure. Lift check valve can be divided into vertical and horizontal type. Swing check valve is divided into single valve, double valve and multi valve. Butterfly check valves are straight through. The above check valves can be divided into threaded connection, flange connection and welding.
The installation of check valve shall pay attention to the following matters:
1. The check valve shall not bear weight in the pipeline. Large check valves shall be independently supported so that they are not affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.
2. During installation, the flow direction of the medium shall be consistent with the arrow direction of the valve body.
3. Lift type vertical flap check valve shall be installed on vertical pipeline.
4. Lift type horizontal flap check valve shall be installed on horizontal pipeline.
